Ghana Elections over Nana Akufo-Addo wins Ghana presidential election, President John Mahama concedes defeat
Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party has won Ghana’s presidential election with an absolute majority over President John Mahama.
The results showed the opposition candidate winning 53.27 percent of the vote and Mahama with 44.93 percent.
Akufo-Addo said on Twitter that Mahama had called him "congratulating me on winning the 2016 Presidential Election".
